Graduated from Edmunds High School in Sumter, South Carolina and received a B. A. degree from the University of South Carolina.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 Entered into US Army on 5 Nov 1965, and completed Rotary Wing Army Aviation School, Class 66-15, in Oct 1966.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Served in Viet Nam from Nov 1966 until Nov 1967 with the 335th Assault Helicopter Company flying the UH-1B, UH-1D, and UH-1H aircraft.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 Joined the 51st Aviation Company in April, 1970 and later becoming an Instructor Pilot at the South Carolina Army Aviation Support Facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
